I work across two closely connected disciplines: data analysis and software development. On the data side, my internship at Math Europe had me collecting real-time IoT sensor data, building automated pipelines on Azure IoT Hub, and producing KPI reports with Python and SQL. On the software side, I design and ship complete products end to end: a trip-cost platform with a FastAPI backend plus web and mobile clients, an accounting platform for Turkish accountants, and a licensed QR ordering & POS system running in a real café.
The two roles feed each other: the products I build generate the data, and the analysis decides what gets built next. A note on my name: I go by Alp Yaldaz in Europe and Alp Yıldız in Türkiye. Both appear on official records in their own country, same person, two spellings of one surname.
